Farabi World Music Foundation is composed of artists proficient in the science of world music. They collaborate through research on the science and art of music as presented by Abu Nasr Farabi in his book Al-Musiqa al-Kabir. The foundation aims to share and teach the valuable findings derived from studies of Farabi’s artistic and scientific works in the field of music to interested learners.

Goals
1. To familiarize people with the music of Abu Nasr Farabi
2. To introduce the artistic and musical works of Abu Nasr Farabi
3. To teach Farabi’s music to interested individuals, especially the younger generation
4. To expand artistic relationships and collaborations with artists worldwide, particularly in Persian-speaking regions

The Farabi World Music Foundation was established in April 2022 by the Amir Khusrow Balkhi Foundation in Mashhad.
