The Amir Khusrow Balkhi Foundation held its 22nd cultural, artistic, and educational session in 2021 titled "Silent Voices of Art."
This session took place on Wednesday, November 3, 2021, at the Ghadir Cultural Center in Mashhad, with the participation of cultural figures, artists, and writers from Afghanistan and Iran. The event aimed to address the dire situation of art and artists—particularly Afghan musicians—in Mashhad.
At the conclusion of the session, a statement from the Amir Khusrow Balkhi Foundation was read aloud by one of the announcers of Radio Kabul 1354.
The statement expressed the Foundation’s deep concern about the dire situation faced by Afghan artists and musicians enduring severe hardships. It called upon the international community, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), and neighboring countries—particularly the Islamic Republic of Iran—for support and cooperation.
