One of the core and prominent programs of the Amir Khusrow Balkhi Cultural and Artistic Foundation in the field of music has been creating a suitable environment for the activity and education of women, especially in the domain of authentic and traditional Afghan music. This segment of the artistic community, due to cultural and social limitations and barriers, requires special support and dedicated platforms to nurture and showcase their talents.

Music, as a fundamental part of our cultural, national, and historical identity, plays a key role in preserving the generational connection of young migrants to their cultural roots. Despite numerous challenges and restrictions, the foundation has succeeded in introducing a significant number of young enthusiasts, teenagers, students, and even migrant artists from other countries to authentic Afghan music and supporting them in their educational journey.

However, it is important to note that due to a lack of facilities and specific limitations related to this group of enthusiasts, educational and cultural activities in this field have been halted so far. The Amir Khusrow Balkhi Cultural and Artistic Foundation hopes that in the near future, by overcoming these restrictions, it will be able to once again provide broad and continuous opportunities for women’s participation in the realm of music.
