World Refugee Day | Conference on Afghanistan's National Music Day

On the occasion of World Refugee Day 2022, a conference titled “Watan-e-Mehr” (Affection for Homeland) was held on June 20, 2022, at Mashhad City Hall. The event was organized by the Bureau for Aliens and Foreign Immigrants Affairs (BAFIA), the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in Mashhad, and Afghan community organizations based in the city.
On the occasion of World Refugee Day, the Amir Khusrow Balkhi Foundation organized the first “Afghanistan National Music Day” conference as part of the “Watan-e-Mehr” exhibition, with the aim of preserving and reviving the art of music that has been banned in Afghanistan.
