Unveiling Ceremony of “Inha” Magazine Held in Mashhad

The unveiling ceremony of “Inha” magazine, dedicated to Afghan migrant youth, took place on Friday, November 30, 2024, at the Immigrants Art House of Khorasan Razavi. The event was attended by cultural figures, writers, poets, and a group of migrant adolescents.
This ceremony was organized through the efforts of the Dorre Dari Cultural Institute and the Immigrants Art House of Khorasan Razavi.

The book launch and review ceremony of “Existentialism through the Lens of Bint al-Huda Sadr and Sadegh Hedayat”, attended by the author Dr. Seyed Ruhollah Hosseini, was held on Thursday, April 16, 2025, at the Immigrants Art House complex in Khorasan Razavi.
This cultural event brought together a group of intellectuals, scholars, writers, poets, academic professors, cultural officials, and enthusiasts interested in philosophy and literature.

“Ali, the Lion of Allah– King of the Brave”: An Afghan Migrants’ Ritual of Courtesy, Art, and Spirituality

The special program “Ali, the Lion of Allah – King of the Brave” was held at the Immigrants Art House to mark the birth anniversary of Imam Ali (AS) and Father’s Day.
This event was hosted by the Immigrants Art House of Khorasan Razavi, in collaboration with cultural institutions including the Afghanistan Cultural & Social Foundation in Iran, Dar Dari Cultural Institute, the Foundation of Elite and Talented Afghan Migrants, and the Golshahr Beh-Nashr Complex, on Tuesday, January 14, 2025.

First Convergence of Afghan Migrant Cultural Institutions on Yalda Night – United for Identity and Culture

The first joint gathering of cultural, artistic, and social institutions of Afghan migrants, titled “Yalda Night Special Program – Coinciding with the Birth Anniversary of Hazrat Fatimah Zahra (SA) and Mother’s Day”, was held on the evening of Saturday, December 21, 2024, at the Immigrants Art House in Mashhad, with the presence of prominent Afghan and Iranian cultural, social, political, artistic, and sports figures.

“Elegy of Brushes” Muharram Exhibition – Paintings by Afghan Artists and Art Students in Mashhad

An exhibition and live painting performance titled “Elegy of Brushes”, focusing on Ashura and Muharram themes, was inaugurated on Sunday, September 1, 2024 (27th of Safar), at the Immigrants Art House, with the presence of cultural figures, artists, art students, and enthusiasts of visual arts.
The exhibition showcased a collection of works by Afghan artists and art students residing in Mashhad—pieces created over the past month, inspired by the concepts of Ashura, sacrifice, resistance, and the mourning of Imam Hussain. These works reflected the remarkable capacity of the migrant community to understand and artistically reinterpret religious and cultural themes.

Exhibitions – Immigrants Art House

Through organizing and participating in art exhibitions, the Immigrants Art House has played a significant role in showcasing young talents and strengthening the art movement within the migrant community. These exhibitions, presenting a diverse range of artworks, not only provided migrant artists with a space to express their creativity but also inspired many interested teenagers and young people to pursue the path of art—sparking the emergence of a new generation of artists.

Immigrants Art House Meetings

During the active period of the Immigrants Art House, regular monthly and weekly meetings were held with the heads of working groups to thoroughly and collaboratively discuss issues related to advancing activities, planning future programs, and addressing ongoing challenges.
In addition to internal meetings, sessions were also organized with government institutions to review the situation of migrant artists, present proposals, and resolve issues—aiming to facilitate cooperation and support for the artists.

Cultural and Artistic Gatherings at the Immigrants Art House

The Immigrants Art House provided a platform for hosting the very first joint gatherings among cultural, artistic, and social migrant organizations in Mashhad—events unprecedented within the migrant community until then. These gatherings, held with the participation of various migrant institutions, laid the groundwork for convergence, identity formation, and cultural exchange across migrant generations.
Had the activities of the Immigrants Art House continued uninterrupted, this institution had the potential to become one of the most significant hubs for connection and synergy among Persian-speaking communities in the region and the two culturally related nations.

The Immigrants Art House, in response to the needs and interests of migrant artists and students, offered a wide and diverse range of educational classes across various artistic fields. These classes, supervised by specialized art units in each discipline, were designed to enhance knowledge, skills, and empower artists and students within a supportive and educational environment.
