Dubbing in Dari Persian

One of the most important activities of the Amir Khusrow Balkhi Cultural and Artistic Foundation is the establishment and development of the Dari Persian dubbing division, which began in 2024. This section was created with the goal of preserving and expanding the Dari Persian language and culture among the new generation of migrants. As a key program of the foundation, it plays a decisive role in cultural identity formation, language learning, and strengthening the media presence of the migrant community.

Book Launch Ceremony of “A War and a Song” Held in Mashhad

Coinciding with World Book Day, the unveiling ceremony of the book “A War and a Song” by Shafiq Payam, featuring caricatures designed by Mohsen Hossaini, was held on Wednesday, April 22, 2025. The event was organized by Dorre Dari Cultural Institute and the Amir Khusrow Balkhi Cultural and Artistic Foundation in Mashhad.
This book, containing more than 150 socially humorous sentences accompanied by caricatures, represents a collaborative work between two Afghan artists and pursues a unique approach to presenting social critiques through humor, illustration, and concise writing.

Performance by Amir Khusrow Balkhi Foundation Artists at the Ceremony Honoring Top Technical and Vocational Professionals with the Presence of UN Officials in Geneva and Tehran

At the special ceremony titled “Honoring the Top Trainees and Instructors of Technical and Vocational Courses” held on Wednesday, January 24, 2025, at the conference hall of the Eram Technical and Vocational Center, attended by high-ranking government and international officials—including representatives from the United Nations in Geneva, the UN Refugee Agency in Tehran and Mashhad, the Ministry of Interior’s Department of Foreign Nationals and Immigrants Affairs, and the Technical and Vocational Organization of Iran—the musical segment was performed prominently and impressively by the artists of the Amir Khusrow Balkhi Foundation.

Special Event: “Ghazal Music Night” Held in Mashhad

The Immigrants Art House of Khorasan Razavi, in collaboration with the Amir Khusrow Balkhi Cultural and Artistic Foundation, hosted two special music programs titled “Ghazal Music Night”, warmly attended by enthusiasts of Afghan music.
These two special programs represent a valuable example of the cultural efforts by the Immigrants Art House and the Amir Khusrow Balkhi Cultural and Artistic Foundation to preserve and promote the authentic culture and art of Afghanistan among migrant generations. They reflect the deep connection between art and cultural identity within this community.

Women’s Music

One of the core and prominent programs of the Amir Khusrow Balkhi Cultural and Artistic Foundation in the field of music has been creating a suitable environment for the activity and education of women, especially in the domain of authentic and traditional Afghan music. This segment of the artistic community, due to cultural and social limitations and barriers, requires special support and dedicated platforms to nurture and showcase their talents.

The Commemoration Ceremony of the Maestro Ustad Sarahang

The Commemoration Ceremony of Maestro Mohammad Hussain Sarahang was held on July 10, 2023, at Hoveizeh Cinema in Mashhad.
The event was organized by the Amir Khusrow Balkhi Foundation, in collaboration with the Farsi-Speakers Office of the Art Center of Khorasan Razavi Province and the Dorre Dari Institute, and was attended by prominent figures from the cultural, scientific, artistic, sports, economic, and media sectors, as well as other distinguished guests.

International Islamic Iftar Festival | International Food Festival

Afghanistan Culture & Arts House at the International Food Festival, Mashhad, Iran

The booth of the Afghanistan Culture & Arts House attracted the largest number of visitors at the festival — including renowned figures from the fields of culture, literature, arts, sports, and media, as well as senior Iranian government officials. Crowds of enthusiastic visitors, from children and teenagers to the elderly, gathered from near and far, enduring the cold weather to enjoy live performances by Afghan musicians and share joyful moments through the melodies of their homeland.

World Refugee Day | Conference on Afghanistan’s National Music Day

On the occasion of World Refugee Day 2022, a conference titled “Watan-e-Mehr” (Affection for Homeland) was held on June 20, 2022, at Mashhad City Hall. The event was organized by BAFIA, UNHCR in Mashhad, and Afghan community organizations based in the city.

On the occasion of World Refugee Day, the Amir Khusrow Balkhi Foundation organized the first “Afghanistan National Music Day” conference as part of the “Watan-e-Mehr” exhibition, with the aim of preserving and reviving the art of music that has been banned in Afghanistan.

Nowruzgah Ceremony | Nowruz Celebration 2022 at Ferdowsi Tomb

Shahnameh recitation in Dari dialect by the announcers of Radio Kabul 1354 and musicians of the Amir Khusrow Balkhi Foundation during the “Nowruzgah” Nowruz celebration of 2022 at Ferdowsi Tomb.

The event was attended by high-ranking officials from Khorasan Razavi province and featured cultural booths from neighboring countries including Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and Turkmenistan.
